Refund Policy

This policy explains subscription cancellations, refund eligibility, and what happens to access after a plan is cancelled.

Effective date: October 1, 2026

01

Subscription charges

ProposalWriter subscriptions are billed in advance for the billing period shown at checkout. Charges cover access to the selected plan, including its available features and usage limits.

02

Cancelling a subscription

You may cancel a paid subscription through the billing area in your account. Cancellation stops future renewal charges. Unless required otherwise by law, your paid access continues until the end of the current paid billing period, after which the account moves to the available entry plan.

03

Refund eligibility

Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period begins. However, we will review refund requests involving duplicate charges, incorrect charges, or a verified technical failure that prevented meaningful use of the paid service.

Nothing in this policy limits refund or cancellation rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

04

Plan changes

Upgrades and downgrades may take effect immediately. Any prorated charge or credit will be displayed before you confirm the change or calculated by the payment provider under the subscription terms shown at checkout.

05

How to request a refund

Submit a request through the support channel available in your ProposalWriter account. Include the account email, charge date, amount, and a short explanation. Do not send complete card details.

Requests should be made within 14 days of the charge. We aim to review complete requests within 5–10 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method; the time required for funds to appear depends on the payment provider and your financial institution.

06

Chargebacks and payment disputes

Please contact us before opening a payment dispute so we can investigate the charge. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in suspension of the associated account while the matter is reviewed.

07

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our subscriptions or legal requirements change. Changes apply prospectively, and the effective date above will identify the current version.
